Ducati All-Stars – January 2, 2010
On behalf of ‘Ducati All Stars,’ a concert thrown by Ducati North America to kick start 2010 in true rock n’ roll fashion, JMPR’s goal was to raise Ducati's accessibility and awareness in the circles of Hollywood actors, musicians and other celebrities. The band, ‘Ducati All Stars’ is comprised of some of rock’s greatest musicians including the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones and Billy Idol’s Steve Stevens.
The group’s members got their starts from various iconic bands and linked up for a special show at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif. Our efforts included drafting press materials (media alert, pre- and post- press releases, shot list and event photo captions), distribution to weeklies and newspapers, wire services and radio and television. In addition to a campaign focused strictly on rock magazines, celebrity websites and coverage for larger marketing stories, our team arranged for a unique meet n’ greet at the Palihouse Holloway for journalists to rub elbows and interview not only the band, but also key Ducati executives on this initiative.
Since rock n’ roll and motorcycling have been paired across generations, it was a natural fit to move the Ducati brand into a true rocker ‘lifestyle’. Information about Ducati All Stars and upcoming concerts can be found at http://ducatiallstars.com/. |
