JMPR is always looking for strong public relations professionals with a BA/BS from a four-year accredited university and a minimum of 3 years experience in the public relations field (agency or corporate).
Requirements: The successful candidate must have a passion for media relations, strong client relations skills and a nose for news! Experience with consumer, business-to-business, automotive, and national news contacts preferred. Ideal candidates will have transportation or luxury-lifestyle public relations/marketing experience working on multiple accounts, and possess the ability to develop media strategy and the ability to help multiple team members and clients/projects move forward simultaneously. A demonstrated ability to manage projects, maintain budgets, follow through on deadlines, interface with clients and measure/achieve success for client initiatives is a must.
We are seeking someone who can:
• Pitch media and secure high-profile placements
• Work with a team to create exciting trends and story angles
• Organize press trips and media tours
• Generate monthly client reports and maintain budgets
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• Excellent media pitching skills and the ability to foster strong media relationships
• A strong knowledge of the automotive industry and/or collector car field
• A strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket and/or motorsports industries
• An appreciation for the luxury lifestyle
• A proven capability to work closely and effectively with luxury/lifestyle clients
• The ability to generate creative story angles
• Superior writing and communication skills
• The ability to effectively participate in new business pitches
